Founded in 1981 as the Minnesota Entrepreneurs' Club, ME! is a pioneer in educating, inspiring and providing resources to aspiring and emerging entrepreneurs.Today, Minnesota Entrepreneurs is well known as one of the state's oldest providers of inspiration, education and networking opportunities to Minnesota's thriving entrepreneurial community.
Minnesota Entrepreneurs differentiates itself from other entrepreneurial groups by the strength of our brand. We leverage and position our brand in these ways:
High profile entrepreneurs as speakers. As evidence of the strength of our brand and of our mission, Minnesota Entrepreneurs has attracted Carl Pohlad, Curt Carlson, Glen Taylor, Harvey MacKay, Leeann Chin, Dick Shultze, Manny Villafana, Denny Hecker, and Famous Dave Anderson among many others. No other entrepreneurial organization has consistently attracted such Hall of Fame speakers. And each year, we honor the best of the best at our Entrepreneur of the Year Awards meeting that attracted over 200 attendees in 2006.
Connect our members and our community of entrepreneurs with resources. We add more value for our members and sponsors and communicate our value proposition to them. Our goal is to provide members with resources to increase visibility. Our website provides materials that are educational, links to other valuable websites and groups, and member profiles. Helping our members connect with resources and other information is a key advantage that Minnesota Entrepreneurs offers to its membership.

Our Three Pillar Mission (inspiration/ education and networking) is how we add value to our members and community of entrepreneurs:
Inspiration. 30-40% of our events will feature keynote speakers who share their wisdom and inspirational leadership.
Education. 30-40% of our events will feature a panel of entrepreneurs moderated by an expert on topics relevant to members.
Networking. Our high-energy networking in a "club atmosphere" helps entrepreneurs connect with other entrepreneurs.
